Frequently asked questions
How do I work out the ideal desk height?
Multiply your height by 0.43 for seated work and by 0.61 for standing work. The result is the desktop height from the floor; fine-tune it by a few centimetres for comfort.
How high should the monitor be?
The top of the screen should sit at eye level or slightly below. When seated, eye level is roughly 77% of your height.
How far should my eyes be from the monitor?
Between 50 and 70 cm, about an arm’s length. If you crane your neck or squint, move it back or increase the font size.
